The Mega Maggot is a meaty 1.5" bait designed for trophy panfish and creek bass. The larger 1.5" size makes it possible to cast this bait weightless on a ultralight rig. The wide flat profile of this bait allows for a slower, more natural sink rate. The Mega Maggot can also be fished under a float or a dropshot. It rigs best on a #1 or #2 short shank hook, but can be fished on a standard longer shank #6 or #4 jig head as well.
